There were many notable occurrences at the fourth annual Smoke Inn Series of Poker. It was the first time for new manufacturer sponsors, Gurkha & Siglo brands. It was the longest SISOP tourney to date with almost 8.5 hours of play.

After 7 hours and 36 minutes of play, Adam Koetje found himself heads up against Bobby Hodson from team Rocky Patel. The chip count was fairly even but after a few hands Adam took a slight lead. That lead was just enough.

It was a day of ups and downs for Pat with his tourney life on the line many times throughout the day. Yet in the end he prevailed as our winner. Unfortunately, Patrick fell ill right before his trip to Vegas for the 2007 World Series of Poker. He still flew out to play the WSOP amidst 6,357 other players.

John Klar stole the day winning 3 bounty prizes including a $2000.00 Don Salvatore humidor and taking first place. He finished 983 out of 8773 players at the 2006 World Series of Poker. On his fifth day of play, he was taken out with pocket jacks and was only 110 places out from being in the money.
