John Klar stole the day winning 3 bounty prizes including a $2000.00 Don Salvatore humidor and taking first place. He finished 983 out of 8773 players at the 2006 World Series of Poker. On his fifth day of play, he was taken out with pocket jacks and was only 110 places out from being in the money. He described his experience as “Exciting, but extremely grueling!”. John averaged about 13.25 hours of play per day. When asked if he would do it again, John replied, “Absolutely! In fact I plan on winning the Smoke Inn Series of Poker next year!”.
